When Justina Strumilaite met Brownie, it was pretty much love at first sight. The fuzzy little kitten had only two toes on his right paw and had difficulty eating.

They were certain that little Brownie, the runt of the litter, would not survive beyond a few weeks. Justina believed in him though encouraged him to climb over his siblings and nurse properly.

Eventually, Brownie began to eat properly and gained weight. Take a scroll through his incredible transformation below!

As a kitten, Justina says he was a “hyper little ball of fur.” Now he is a majestic beast!!

Grizzly bears are known to have an inherent need and ability to explore, and according to the “Western Wildlife Outreach” they are highly intelligent creatures. Both their memory and “smarts” are cultivated and exhibited by both their need and talent in tracking down sources of food.

Their ability to reason, as you will see in this AMAZING VIDEO below, isn’t limited to their survival instincts in getting fed. Can you imagine having all that fur on you in the heat of summer? I, myself can’t “bear” being out in summer heat without water to cool off; (forgive the pun)!

The “National Wildlife Federation” has done research on Grizzlies, that show their exceptional talent as SWIMMERS, but diving?!? Get ready to watch this bear cool off in an above ground pool, in the most astoundingly human-like movements, that will amaze and give you a good laugh for the day!

Pet owners love chatting with their animal companions and oftentimes our furry friends love talking back! Just about everyone is guilty of having full-on conversations with their pets as if they were a fellow human being at some point in time. After all, they’re part of the family and besides, it just happens!

Which leads us to this adorable video of a family trying to figure out what the heck their dog is trying to say. The camera is trained on the sweet white puppy named Charlie and as you can see he’s very vocal. He’s hanging out in the kitchen with a little girl, probably his sister, who’s egging him on and getting him to talk. Charlie makes some interesting noises that can be interpreted to sound like “blahblahblah” and “i love you,” but it’s anyone’s guess as to what he’s truly saying. If he’s like most dogs then he’s most likely asking for food!

When we talk to our pets it’s a natural, normal, and possibly even instinctual way to both communicate and bond with them. Some pets will even initiate conversations rather than just talk back and a recent survey found that 67% of pet owners claim they understand their animals barks, meows, purrs and all of the other sounds they make. Out of those surveyed, 62% reported that when they speak their animals seem to understand and get the message.

The numbers above are from an AP-Petside poll conducted in 2008 so they’ve likely higher now, as pets are increasingly being considered important family members. Many people even place their beloved animals on equal footing with children, hence the name fur-babies!

Dogs love going outside to get some fresh air and exercise and for responsible owners that means they have to either put them on a leash and take them for a walk or go to the dog park. Unless, of course, they have a sturdy fence installed that allows the dog to roam free and explore the yard safe and securely. The convenience of having a fenced-in area for pets at home simply make people’s lives easier and they also make life easier and happier for the dog, and more fulfilling!

One man, YouTube user rgraves62002 decided that his best friend, an adorable dog named Stella, could benefit from a nice penned in area. He rescued Stella after finding her in a dumpster and saw how much she loved to run and jump around, so she needed a place to play in and keep her from wandering off.
Knowing how much of a jumper Stella was he tried to figure out how high she could leap before he went out and bought a fence. He set up a test and explained in the comments that he “had Stella jump a baby gate inside and when she stopped jumping it I added 6” (inches).”

After putting up the new fence he couldn’t help but admire it and the clip he posted shows the end result of all his hard work and effort. He can be heard in the background saying “Yep, just completed fixing this fence. Pretty proud of it I’d have to say. Trying to keep Stella in the yard.” As if on cue Stella comes running, she flies right by the camera, and leaps up and over the new fence in a single bound!! She barely paused and cleared the top with room to spare! Seconds later the man simply says “Dammit.” It’s the perfect reaction to the moment and one can only imagine what a stupefied look he must have on his face. Stella: 1 Fence: 0.

In the end, the fence didn’t end up going to waste. The man commented that he re-purposed it into “a tree house with a zip-line for my grandson” so it wasn’t a compete failure. This video just goes to show how everything worked out for the best, and how agile some dogs are! Please share it with other dog lovers and anyone else who can appreciate the hilarity of the moment.

Bath time definitely doesn’t fall into “My Favorite Activity” for most dogs. In fact they try to avoid it at all cost. However, just the word “walk” usually gets the tail wagging, running in circles in anticipation, and waiting at the door for the great event.

Well, that is the case for most dogs….but not Zeus the adorable stubborn Husky. Apparently Zeus has made up his mind, that his majesty, is ready for his bath to be drawn. He has placed himself in the empty bathtub, and every time he is told it isn’t bath time, but time to for a walk…well you will see his hilarious reaction in the video below.

Let’s just say that Zeus is like a big toddler, who practically sounds like he is talking, as he responds to his mom saying “Get out of the bathtub!” He knows it’s time for his walk, but his preference for a nice relaxing bath is something he is willing to fight for. Charley is a little yellow duckling and he has a routine he goes through every morning.

As soon as his owner gets up and goes outside, Charley is right there following him. When the owner runs, Charley runs! And then he does a little chirp! This would be a great way to get going in the morning by having your own little partner jog with you outside for a few minutes. Too cute!
